Right now, I feel like I’m weaving light through music and storytelling, especially through my new song Songbird. I’m a folk singer-songwriter in Vermont, and this song came from a very tender, reflective place in me. So much of my work is inspired by nature, birds, healing, humor, and the quiet emotional moments that often go unnoticed. I’ve also been creating a gentle series called Songbird Storybook, which has felt like another thread in the same tapestry reminding people to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with softness in a loud world.
For me, weaving light isn’t about pretending life is perfect or always “high vibe.” It’s about creating honest spaces where people can feel comforted, seen, and less alone. My music tends to carry a calming energy, and I’ve been told my voice feels healing and grounding to others. That means a lot to me. I believe music can carry intention, tenderness, and emotional medicine in ways words sometimes cannot.
Lately, I’ve been learning that light can be woven quietly through a song shared online, a kind interaction, caring for animals, making art from the heart, or simply choosing gentleness when the world feels overwhelming. Songbird feels like part of that offering for me right now.

Healing the Herd: Recently, a powerful moment unfolded during my Animal Reiki Share group. A member brought a photo of a cow, sensing a call for help. What began as a session for one animal quickly expanded into a massive healing bridge for cows as a collective. From small family farms to the largest cattle ranches, we sent love, Reiki, and gratitude. We were weaving support for the advocates working to shift the industries from within. In less than ten minutes, we witnessed how a focused group can anchor higher light into the grid at an unexpected, global scale!

How I am weaving light right now - I just remember to be ever present for the beautiful soul who has chosen to connect with me. It is an honor to bare witness to such amazing transformations that are co-created, helping the person reconnect with themselves, in the present moment. Releasing old trauma, or physical pain, bringing in their own lessons and insights with light and love.
I keep myself growing and expanding in so many ways. I too receive healing to help myself be a clear channel so that I can be of service to others. I like the forward momentum of seeing the many peaks and valleys of our own healing journey and I do my best to instill in others the excitement of their own journey towards wholeness. It's like riding a wave! Why not make it about seeing the gifts rather than dwell on the hurts.
Guiding people to listen to what their own body is trying to communicate and how to invite change, I feel this brings more light into this world in a fun and invigorating way. When the body and the mind can release the wounds of old to receive the beauty within, magic happens. I love what i do so much and am so grateful for the many gifts I have been endowed with, heading to the office is a joy that i look forward to.

When my dog Taika (meaning Magic) and I make flower essences, there comes a time where there is a deep profound peaceful stillness, an incredible column of light, and what we feel within reflects the upgrade being experienced in the surrounding area. We’ve made flower essences and a few environmental essences throughout the Yukon, and in Northern Ontario along the shores of Lake Superior, anchoring more light into these places. The Vibrational essences have an energy field, they are potentized water of the cellular intelligence from flowers and gems, and interact with a person’s field (in-person) or by distance through the Quantum field. I wholeheartedly trust and feel the essences know what is required for a person’s healing, in their highest alignment and in divine perfection.
The vibration or light from flowers, gems, trees, sacred spaces, and the sea, provide a myriad of healing realities for many. My practice is called Valo Essence: Valo is ‘light’ in Finnish. Humans of all ages and phases of life including pre-conception through death and transition benefit greatly from vibrational essences. There are essences for pets and wild animals, for example in wildlife rescue centres, as well as homes and environments.

Weaving my light through Text Meditations: During Covid, I wanted to connect with friends, provide healing, and be in positive energy with others. It had to be easy. A thought came in to have a healing group via text!
It has evolved over time. Currently I have a once a week coherence meditation session. There is a theme theme each week to provided (self love, compassion, gratitude) more power to our intentions. Combined with the support of the collective is exponential! I raise the vibration even higher with music and light language. Then I get quiet, and with my husband, we hold coherence for the collective.
Weaving my light with NoodleBrain Writing: ‘Heal these souls.’ That’s what I heard many years ago and I have been trying to do that ever since. In many different ways. As MANY of us have.
